So whens everyone starting again?

As the title says, when are all of you starting ferreting again? I would like to say come end of September as the seasons are becoming shorter and shorter otherwise. Yes I will get a few young, but at the same time the landowners want them controlled, got some nice new untouched permissions that seem to hold a few and so I am happy and eager to start.

il go odd time in september to keep farmer off my back,but be in winter when il be non stop

I do bits n bobs, graveyards, gardens, allotments, parks etc but dont start in the fields and woods till the nettles die down enough...which seems to get later and later each year!

27 degrees sunny warm the last thing on my mind is working the ferrets enjoying the season thats called summer and happy for the start of proper ferretting in last sept early oct to arrive .

im starting this weekend as theres mixy just starting on some bits where i go ferreting so ill try and have a few days at them before theres none left but on my other bits where theres no mixy ill be leaving till september. atb for the season

already started.. . in June for one particular job...Had a few Pest control jobs that required ferrets..so the ferts have been getting some extra action.They were out last week and will be again this week for a couple of days at least..comes in handy when the freezer stock is getting low.

Think ill try a bit end of this month, Get my pup started as he anit had a thing yet and just start him on a few easy open sets and take it from there, Cover and hedgerows are far too thick yet too be doing anything serious

Got me first day penciled in for 20th Sept then It'll be every other weekend after that!
