Idoits with airguns

Recommended Posts

Last evening I was driving through a small Norfolk village on my way home, suddenly i heard the most deafening bang, i stopped the car as soon as it was safe. walked around the car, only to find a perfect complete circular crack in my windscreen, just behind the rear view mirror, I had been shoot at!!

I called the local police, only to find that this hadn't been the first time, a cop car had been shoot last week and numerous others, damaging paintwork etc. They think one of the local yobs is getting his jollies from shooting at passing cars..

Sh*t like this gives all airgunners a bad name, i drove back to the same spot, can't see anyone.

The irony of this tale was the only reason I was driving down that road was I was on my way home after collecting my brand new s200 .177 air rifle.

Now waiting for autoglass to fit new windscreen, £75.00 down the drain all because an one fecking prat..

mrs mole im sorry to hear about your mis fortune..............it is a fact of life that these hooligans not only get there hands on fire arms but living animals aswell............................the type that are cruel and have no morals to any thing ...................................................it makes you wonder what the parents are like......................

unfortunately we will always have them among our land creating havoc and pain for there thrill ....................

trouble is when they are caught they have always got protection , they suffer from this and that....................bring back the old school, years ago when we didnt hear about all these diseases and they were punished properly.............

i for one if i steped out of place my dad would let me have it and sometimes they were some beatings................

kids aint getting no better as there getting more and more protected ...................some have genuine difficulties etc

as above- what a tosser.at least you were unharmed though, that could've turned really nasty for you if you'd crashed because of it. someone needs a kicking, but typically the chances of that happening are pretty minimal, unfortunately.

cheers, wurz

If that had been a side window instead of the windscreen. it could have gone through it and really hurt you. (Or the side window might have been open!)

I echo what Whippet said. Years ago there might have been the odd childish prank, but nothing like this. I was more scared of my parents than the police. These kids now are scared of nothing because they know they will be namby-pambied if it ever went to court.

I hope they get caught and I hope they have parents with old-school values.

Glad you werent hurt Mrs mole, Unfortunatly yobs like the one who shot at you dont really have many brain cells as Walshie says thank god it wasnt through your open side window. these scumbags dont have any concience if they hurt anyone by their stupidity and dont realise they are inviting legislation to stop everyone having air rifles themselves included!, Durrh, In the last couple of years there have been newspaper reports of Swans being killed by these B*****S. Unfortunatly such cretins mean responsible shooters can be regarded with alarm by neighbours who seem to tar everyone with the same brush. ATVB, Tron.

Heard a very similar story from the chap I was working for recently.

It just beggars belief, it truly does.

I'm honestly at a loss for words when I consider it. More so when one considers the measurements involved between the impact point and a vital organ!

The only words that come to mind are: "I'm jolly glad you're still with us!!!"

Never good to hear of things like this, fecking moronic little bag of turd :shok:

As you say Mary, incidents like this gives all us decent and sensible airgun users all a bad name and it's extra fuel for the AntiGun brigade.

I know exactly how I'd treat the scumbag if I ever caught someone doing that :diablo:

Good to hear you were unharmed in the incident.

Hope you are alright Mary, despite being 75 quid light for a new windscreen. :icon_eek:

:hmm: No doubt another sample offspring of some moronic scum of mother who'd say "It's got nuthin' to do wi' me!!" if they caught him.

Regards to you and Mike.

Hi Simon, Great to hear from you again..

My mum's health deteriorated rapidly just after Christmas, I was spending all my spare time caring for her and supporting my aging father, with no time for shooting, so I decided to sell or gift all my stuff. Mike got my brand new hw100kt .22, sold my hw100kt .177 and hw95. With the money i bought myself a little project to work on with my Dad, a little 1997 mx5. the bodywork was a mess, the roof had holes in it, but mechanically it was great.

I've been panel beating, learnt how to respray a car, put a new roof on her, just about finished her now, few hundred hours and more than a few hundred pounds later I've just got to finish polishing her up then the road. In fact I nearly took her yesterday, I'm so glad I don't.

My Mum died on in Mid June after being diagnosed with lymphoma for the third time. I how have a little more time for myself, hence the s200, just a nice, not too expensive pcp to enjoy when I'm not helping/supporting dad..

Sorry to hear about this,

Things like this really do annoy me as it not only gives air gunners a bad name, but also all of my generation, all because some lowlife has no respect for peoples property or well being, Then they moan that they have been 'bullied' and 'picked on by the law'-they really don't do themselves any favours.

Glad you were not hurt

Were not all hoodlums and hoodies, Honest :cray:

Regards,

Dean
