Dozen Today.

Had to do a re-visit today and mop up a few straglers from the last visit..some tricky bits of cover that were too hard to bush out with the dog But the ferrets worked it like terriers bolting a couple of classics for the dog.

Only 1 little dig all day and that was only a couple of feet.

 

A couple of tricky sets under concrete foundations with 2 or 3 holes etc etc..managed a couple out of each set.

 

Only problem was the heat today.. I had to keep the ferts wattered down and in the shade all day..they performed perfectly.

Dog was on cracking form and didnt miss anything.

 

There was no young uns etc etc. managed to bag 12 and should do a few more next week.

 

And before you ask..it was a Pest control Job..

Nice one, we always get told by some, that they breed all year round these days, and I have no doubt in places they do, but when I start which is generally mid sept, there are no small ones about.

Im sure they are breeding all year round in a lot of places matey... I think we,ll be seeing a lot more bunnies this year than there was last year in quite a few of the places i go to.. The only younger ones i caught yesterday were almost fully grown.( perfect for the pot types,,nice and tender ).
