There not that challenging for a dog, much slower than hares. Ive heard of a lot of dogs been hurt by them by my old lass took at least 50 and only got a small cut out of all those times.

That's the thing with them,,,some dogs can take loads,,,then all of a sudden one day get cought with a tusk,,,,and your looking round for a shovel,,,some very experienced dogs have come to a bloody end with muntys,,,

Seen it myself an old dog of mine had his neck opened up and I never bothered running him on them again

Unusual that they don't, maybe because its a slash rather than a bite?

lot of difference between getting cut up and taking bites imo

 

yeh pre ban you here of dogs that will tackle big deer ,which could easily kill a dog from cuts+kicks, yet don't like to mix it with a 14-20lb fox that could never kill it, strange creatures are dogs. :yes:
