Millet 4,497
millet it is the same size as her back legs, thats why am not sure if she is stayin as im workin alot and wont get a lot ov day work with her as that is what i wanted to keep her for just day work If i was in your situation i would be the same..should i keep or not..it is a hard decision for sure especially when you have bred them yourself..the thing that would sway me to sell or pass on to a mate would be the thought of bringing two pup's on at the same time..good luck in whatever you choose to do.. lamp+battery 98
cheers mate what am thinkin is if i part with her to a mate n she turns out how a think she will al be gutted, but at the same time i have 2 adult dogs and 2 pups at the min, but i did bread the litter for a big hairy dog pup witch i was blessed with and couldent want any thing els in what i was hopein for, but this bitch just keeps me thinkin should i keep the 2 or should i keep the 1 the wife says 4 will be to many for me and deep down i no she is right but carnt bring me self to get rid ov her yet i hate these decisions Quote Link to post
Millet 4,497
If you pass her on and she turn's out a cracker you should be over the moon not gutted.. ..you will alway's have the chance of a pup of her if a mate get's her.. I think your wife is right mate 4 dog's is too many especially if they are all at a working age..the most i have had going at one given time was 3 and that was hard work trying to get the best out of them..infact i could not.. one alway's ended up getting left out..so 4 for me would end up causing too much stress instead of joy..and it would turn into a chore instead of something you enjoy..it is purely up to you what you do but i would only run one pup at a time..but only you know the answer to that.. 1 Quote Link to post

lamp+battery 98
millet i no your right mate and every thing you said is right, i need to sit n have a good think on it, i no its not goin to be easy but at the end ov the day am only thinkin ov meself not the pup`s , i will not want a pup off her as the next pup i have will be a 1 from the pup i just bread and the other bitch off my last litter, but that is not for a few year yet as i wanted the dog pup off this litter to put to the bitch off my last litter 4 year back, they are the same breadin but the bitch has more collie and the dog has more deerhound but both dogs have deer/sal/grey n collie in there makeup, paul p.s the bitch that just had the litter is 7 and will be just used for ferretin and the odd night on the rabbits, my other bitch is 4 1/2 and is in her prime, and then the 2 pups Edited August 9, 2012 by lamp+battery Quote Link to post
