Downside if its a nice day you'll be out the door in a queue for up to 45 mins anyway.. when you think back to fish and chips from years ago you always queued outside the door because it was cooked fresh when you ordered it not kept warm on a shelf thats why it seemed to taste better and also the fat is different now 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Got to agree on that and Veral's over the Headland in Hartlepool near the boro hall..you don't get fish more fresh than all the coastal chippies especialy when they have a local fishing harbour..the further inland you get the less fresh and yellow the fish seem's..
