Fish + chip shop

Had some real nice fish+chips the other night, not far from me in south staffs. What place's do you lot think as the best fish+shops towns, etc ........... ? and when on our Hols as kids always had nice fish+chips in Weymouth lol , must be ready for me tea lol

when you think back to fish and chips from years ago you always queued outside the door because it was cooked fresh when you ordered it not kept warm on a shelf thats why it seemed to taste better and

Anstruther on the East coast of Fife.............award winning chippie.........cant go wrong. Downside if its a nice day you'll be out the door in a queue for up to 45 mins anyway.. :censored:

you could be right Lab , dont know if its because they prob fresher by the old sea side , but they do seem to taste better at these places lol

Its a lovely wee place mate....could well be the quickness of the fish from sea to shop. Either that they have a secret and not letting on. They have photos of Prince Charles stopping of there for a fish supper when William was at University at St Andrews...also Tom Hanks as well has been in...........wonder if they had to wait 45 mins...?.. :laugh:

Tonys fish & chips at Mosborough, Sheffield :thumbs:

Anyone from that area who hasn't tried them,you don't know what your missing.

Also there's a good chippy in North Berwick,I think it's the North Berwick fish Bar.
