Depends on what you want the dog for. Make sure you see it work on what YOU intend to work the dog on. Pick what you want the dog to do before you even start looking and then start looking at dogs, see what sort of price the dogs are going for and then make sure you have that sort of coin and fuel to get there. Try and get a trial and make sure there are no silly faults with dog

Be very carefull as what it's faults are and make sure you make a list of questions before you phone there's alot to having a Lurcher ie what it like with other dogs is it noisy in kennells does it travell well in car that's withought what it does in the feild thay all sound trivia things but it will piss you off in the long run I learnt the hard way lost lots of money and went miles and hours when I was looking but I'm settled and my kennel is taking shape now anyway there's alot to think about try and get it right the first time and as has been said if thay don't give you a trial walk away anyway atb in your quest donk

buy the right stock,take your time, ask for advice when you need it and with a bit of luck you will have a dog to be proud of :thumbs:

Got purdys progress comeing and going to read up before I make my choice

 

Good idea , best thing to do is research about what cross is best and what you want from a dog what I will say is , on purdys progress ,purdy learns really quick and doesn't make many mistakes that's just her so don't worry if your future pup don't pick up things as quick as purdy did :thumbs:
