That's my worse nightmare having to rely on someone else for toilet needs. Rather be dead!

Lived all my life with a bit dignity, be nice to go out with it aswell.

Care homes all over the uk staffed by folk who barely speak English, and let's be honest the places they hail from are not all that big on compassion. However those homes would rather put profit before our elderly. Not saying there aren't staff put there who respect there patients, but they are few and far.

my mum died of cancer last year watching and nursing her through 6 months of hell will haunt me forever -- if she`d of had the choice she would of said her goodbyes and been gone in a few weeks time to change the law i would`nt let one of my dogs suffer the way she did ..a few year back a local retired keeper had an illness that ment he would be a burden on his family he rang round said his goodbyes told his son where to find him took himself into the woods and shot himself he made a choice that no one had the right to take away ..
