Tam O'Void 297 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 Why are Mfh.Hunts staff quite Happy to be Paraded ,and posing for Cameras ,Boxing day meets ,Hunt shows,Gamefairs,etc, but When it comes Hunting sites they take The MORAL high ground.or maybe they dont. If images are to be Taken and used by Antis' any Media source will be used including back catalogue images..surely. If the Image is of a Legal and above board subject ..what is the Problem,some folk Have ? Or is it like a copyright thing..Your not reg.. so you don't exist,thus you must be doing something wrong M.F.H. Unreg .Pack ....Would you Have a Problem of your Hounds / work put up. Your Image..with permission ? I know the Images, I put up have the Blessing of all concerned,and they dont believe Hunting is being Damaged in any Form or Way. alimac 882 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Share Posted August 6, 2012 Registered mfha packs are happy to as you say "be paraded & pose for photos" during game fairs, country shows etc because it's good pr, it's amazing when we do them & call folk into the ring to say hello to the hounds just how many people have the wrong idea about hounds, these 15 minutes or so change or clear up misconstrued ideas and myths about hounds being nothing but smelly killers & hunt staff being stuck up when infact most are in general just like any other blue collar worker.. Boxing day meets, lol, I'm not even going to explain why they do that.. Il give u a clue it begins with a T & ends in a N. As for the rest of your post I'm lost!! There's a lot of hunt staff on here so don't quite think they take the moral high ground when it comes to forums. "take the Moral high ground or do they " is what I said..didn't think any would. pics going on Hunting Forums,not the Forum it's self...I enjoy the pics Leveller puts up,but not many others post pics !just wondered why ? I did have a "Incident " regarding a Photo( no Identifile one or location I may add),was used as an Excuse by an interested party nothing to do with the Hunt, to deny me access to Hunting.. ,But I Spoke to the Master personally,he had never heard of the Prob.and didn't see One. I was more than welcome.. supposedly came from concerns of a lower member of staff . Never was asked about it by the Party concerned..Old news..still hunting.. Jokes aside if you were to put a photo of someone on the net id imagine they would hope who ever took it & wanted to put it on the net would have the decency to ask there permission first.. The thing with the Internet as we all know the way things are written by someone else can easily be taken the wrong way, like wise photos to a certain degree The two hunts iv worked at have had no issues, the present one has 2 or 3 photographers out each day, nearly all there pics end up on there sites for the whole world to see by the next day. But as we all hunt with in the law & the loop holes with in it we have diddly shit to worry about.. Tally ho September is nearly upon us. Quote Link to post

I think a 2nd party was more to blame...As you prob Know the man has a wealth of Knowledge here and abroad..One of them things . Enjoyed watching him hunt,but to save the peace stayed away. have never Had the Fortune to see him Hunt from a Horse...as I rode for a few years myself,would be Jockey I would have enjoyed that. You had asked my Ol'Mucker if you could take a pic of his dogs .He agreed . The pics were not posted on here ,but on an outside media..I was in The Pic as was my Ol'Mucker Faces showing as most other pics showed only dogs I Queried your descision..got an answer AND DID NOT ask you to take any down,just that ****was abit concerned,as he is OLD OLD Skool !! I have said to Lab on numerous occasions if He wants to see me ! Ask Rake to show you my Pic Dog'n'bones & Pipe ...
