As some may be aware, I lost a spaniel to cancer earlier, so was left without a replacement for my 10 yr old cocker, he still works hard, but now, it`s too hard, he can work to a standstill in a few

Grand looking pup is that..the very best of luck with your new recruit Rake :thumbs: ..i have alot of time for the Bedlington x's and i've always said if i had to start in this game from scratch then it would be the Beddy x for me ;)

rake, he looks a wee topper mate i'm sure he'll do well for you, must be the fashion these beddy x's, bob's brother has just bred his greyhound with a beddy, looks like the rabbit population is in for a wee tanking eh.

p.s. is the mighty one not going to be tempted with one?

the beddy xs have always been about as long as i can remember just like your collie xs just with the ban now i think tend to be going for smaller dogs i think atb

i had one in the early 80's, fearless he was, will always have a soft spot for them, was down for a pup from 'so what's' bitch but she didn't take 1st time and the wife and young lass spotted 'belle'

but she didnt turn out too shabby just a wee bit bigger than i fancied

NL thanks for that, just the thing, when you get a pup others always turn up. I doubt very much he`pll have much trouble homing those as I`ve seen yours and they are cracking dogs.

theres a likeness between her as a pup and yours, it's a wee belter, your gonna have some wee team in a year or so, mines is coming on ok bud had her out after golf course rabbits at last light a lot lately she's had a few but when we accidentally put up a hare (no intent to course) she really takes off. going to get her back on the lamp soon (i'm off for another op) and we'll find out how good she is

Well, he`s settled in now and is driving the missus crazy, looks like he`ll be a mental as the others.
