Haggis81 147
Hot topic! If crabbers put as much effort in to their own stock that they do bringing other stock down they maybe get some decent dogs about they and no be as jealous!! Link to post
horsebox78 0
lucas was at stud in the cmw last year in an ad stating he was the consistently the best dog in ireland and england, and that he could run on any terrain, but on that clip not not a chance. this dog is completey overated and 5 irish irish lads got the service of the dog without seing him run and their not impressed of what they have seen with that clip.thier is another dvd doing the rounds with big duffs dogs running and they are just as bad.their is a hell of a lot better dogs in ireland and england and by the way i live in galwey and have lived and hunted their for thirty years and the hares are not great.gorger said in a previous post that the worst hares are in galwey and sligo, how is that Link to post

coursing_lad 45
this argument as gone far to much , name 1 dog thats never been crabbed , jelousy in a weird thing , i dont care what lucas runs , what he wins , what he loses , what he catches , what he misses , the facts are : atleast hes been ran , tested on most ground over in ireland and in england , the owner is quit happy with him , are as other members of the coursing world who are happy to use him as stud , ive been offerd a cheap pup 2 days ago from lucas for 150 quid , ive said no just not my type . but that wasnt influanced by anything ive read on the internet , just my own opinion . run what you run and f**k what anyone else thinks , to many ' crabbers ' not enough ' doers ' ... gorger - you obviously have nothing to prove . to anyone but yourself . good luck this season Link to post
troter58 1,711
think there is a lot of people judging the dog from the vid that as been put up i would like to see the dog on the fen in england seen lurchers kill hares on the land we seen on the vid with no salukie in them and kill 2/3s only way to see this dog run proper is get out with the owner on the big land and he as offered to run any one so whats the big deal if you want a run out pm him and stop bitching on here wish you all best for the season with lucas troter 1 Link to post

Good Man 196
Dog did ok. I have seen better. Well done to the lad that filmed it, he done better then me, as i have tryed it, not easy!! I think, by the look of that clip, Lucas would do better in the uk, or on big ground, he seems to lay back off his hare, till he knows it is going to get away. Would like to see more of him on big land in the uk. It looked to be hard ground to run on as well in the clip. Just my opinion. Thanks for putting the clip up Banner man, it was not easy i know, but fair play to yea and thanks to the young lad for filming it. what have you seen thats better GM Not many. However, that clip did not proove a lot i suppose, as it was hard ground and fair play to the dog. I have not been into coursing long, just about the same as your self messie. so, i am not the one to judge proper, as their is more experienced lads then myself and yourself to judge it. On another point, i came across this old clip below i cut out the CMW the other day, never seen it before, just thought i would stick it up on here. Link to post
