Most birds soon get used to them when you go out ferreting regular.. then again my old male Redtail was a b*****d, even the Rottweiler we had back then was scared of him . when I had him by the jesses while ferreting it wasn't a problem but if he missed and went and was loose with the ferret still down the hole I wouldn't want to put money on what he would do, I used to try and get him down asap before the ferret popped out... thankfully never had any bird doing the ferrets but have heard of a few accidents ...... I have put ferret in hutch tonight to how it a goes have just keep an eye over next couple of days don't want it to unsettle my bird after how well he doing .. Quote Link to post
