english dogs in ireland.

for this country u need a bit of both imo stanama and brains from the english and pace and good around cover from the irish perfact mixture imo

we have dogs which are fast and great around cover with brains and stamina. And I'm sure you lads will have dogs with it all too I can't see why there is this big divide between English and Irish line's

the only problum with irish dogs running on the fen is the put top speed to go to the hare on its first run after that the the copon to pace themselfs ive seen this happen .. irish dogs try to jump

Jesus what is it with some of you Irish lads and thinking English dogs wouldn't do well on Irish soil good dog will kill its quarry on big and small land regardless the country. we have plenty small land over here and these useless fen only dogs kill well on them so why wouldn't they on Irish soil

seen some top dog lads as their called [idiots]lifting their dogs off slemish.its too rough ime not playing.

smart dog id say your right mate wee have been breeding together for years now but away back in the eighties it was mostly collie breeds or terrier thats why the dogs from england came in to play the stanama was missing back then but were not a million miles away now

but your forgeting about the hare :yes:

the hare is a different entity but we where running the hare for hundreds of years as well u know and the saluki is originally persian a good dogs a good dog anywhere and i live and have kids to an irish lass doesnt matter where the dogs from for me

you've never run Durham dales rough as hell ok hares there ain't any good but ground favours the hare so you do get decent runs a lot of you Irish lads just need to accept that there is good dogs where there is good dog men and where they live and run has nought to do with it

its not about size of land allot of dogs in england are used to hunting open land and irish so [bANNED TEXT] they go to ireland they get hurt of cover.were as most irish dogs will get hurt in drains over here
