Ive known pure Whippets take hares and fox if you get the right breeding and if you enter it right.

i have had both ,both game fast dogs, the collie x had the best nose, good ratter, good on long ears, this was many years gone by,i have a whippet saluki/ghd now, wish could have had them at same time, both good dogs both 21"tts 30lbs most dogs bred with whippet in the mix will tackle foxes but some are too small light
