Never be dishonest with a dog/pup, but be firm not to firm but fair always end on a high note keep training lessons short I look at training a pup is like building a brick wall every brick is laid one at a time when the wall built you have a fully trained dog at your side. Happy hunting.

there is loads of information available on training dogs, and obedience training should be done BEFORE you let your pup start working. but once you are happy with your pups training standard the most important aspect of creating a good working dog is to give it as much work as it can get. obviously you have to take age fitness etc into account, but the more work it gets, the better a dog gets.practice makes perfect!!
