Is that right? Either way I think the Cuban looked more in control throughout the bout, was more confidant, aggressive and effective.
gonetoearth 5,144
Shots landed to the upper body and head , not gloves or aggression , the Cuban. Come forward the Brit defended and scored more clean shots the last round was even so it went to count back , thus the Brit won. All judges must press the red or blue button simultaneously for a score to be registered. There are also officials over looking the scoring. It's as fair as you can get. coonboy 160
Before the points system come out ther was a lot of lads winning fights frew agression and going forwards all the time I think its made it a lot fairer for the counter punchers and skillfull boxers not fighters
gonetoearth 5,144
We were told years ago to coach tech to promote skill. , take the aggression out of the kids and coach boxing , aggression. Comes with age Its channeling it in the right way. We are seeing the results with four of our. Male boxers seeded. And two of the ladies ,

gnasher16 30,121
I think we have definately had the rub of the green decisions wise up to now.....but nobody can win through to a gold on luck alone so if any of them were not good enough they,ll get found out eventually.............personally i dont think the best all round fighter necesarily wins an amateur contest in a 1 off bout and thats why i dont particularly like it............but that dont mean you can bullshit your way through a competition the best fighter will usually win the gold over the entire tournament.
