Any info? Laguna Bitch 'Looks the Business' pet name 'Tip'.

Looking for any information about this female, 'Looks the Business' is her KC Name and she was called 'Tip' when I had her, DOB 22/05/08. I started her working, but no matter what I tried, she always 'opened up' when chasing anything. She wasn't over faced OR entered too young (12 Months old on easy Rabbits), but BARKING is just something she picked up and I WOULDN'T and WON'T tolerate IN ANY RUNNING DOG. I sold her when she was around 16-17 Months old in 2009, to a lad in Wales, who came down and we took her out 'lamping', she never put a foot wrong, catching, retrieving and straight back to me when lamp off......she did 'open up' though. I gave him the Bitch and her KC Papers for £100 and the promise of a free Pup, WHEN he bred from her, should she prove OK........a very nice Black Bitch with white tips. He only wanted her for Rabbits and he had relatives of hers already at home, a dog and a Bitch, so she was bred how he liked them to be. WHERE IS HE AND WHERE IS SHE.............ANYONE HELP? He was around 5' 9", light brown hair, a bit tubby and says he was 'into' his working Whippets, so may be well known in 'working Whippet' circles. I lost all his details and unsure how to search Whippet Archives.

Had a look on the archives, it appears she had one litter.

If you had a kennel name (prefix) it would help.

I expect she was not a genuine Laguna dog, unless bough from the lady who owns Laguna?

If he has had the papers transfered into his name, you could also check with the KC.

Just had a look and yes one litter registered. Shes not Laguna, but a relative from the notoriously busy Mike Brown bred dogs, which has some Laguna way way (5-6 gens) back.

Yes she had a litter, pups born on 12 th December 2010, sire was a dog called Tiger Stripes.

If i was you i would put your question up on The Working Whippet Forum, someone on there should be able to help you.
