I buy descent batteries and bin them at new year and buy fresh ones to last till April but i still test mine before i put them in a collar , if you need two in a fifteen foot collar its surprising how one goes flat while the other plenty power

Aye its all hearing aid batteries i use,but if you where fitting up 6/7 fifteen foot collars and had a duff battery i would check it against another one out another collar trying to find the duff one but now two minutes and there all checked ,and its so small i carry it in the field with the spare batteries and collars and if a collar packs in it's the first thing i check and you can be back ferreting in two minutes .
