So . . . how's it going so far?

Just wondered how everything is going for folk so far with the birds?

 

Everything is going pretty ok here, if you try to forget that rapeing and pillaging done by the hook beaks. We've probably lost 100-150 birds to them so far.

 

Did have a bit of a nightmare morning this morning though,going up to find a pen of about 600 birds had done one, across a field, and into some woods and a thick hedge, got most back to the pen though, probably lost 100 on the way (into the thick hedge), which i will go back for later, only came back, because the police are due to pay me a visit.

fox is nabbing a few plus mine have hexy

Really well, much stronger birds than we have had in the past. Put a few less in each pen as well which I think has helped. One pen in particular is suffering from the Buzzards though. But feck all we can do about that really.
