Never one to miss an opportunity I took it up. Our 2 1/2 hour wander involved Darren showing me the ropes on the course. Everywhere he said there would be rabbits there were, Darren clearly knows the permission like the back of his hand. The lamping session was eventually cut short when charlie turned up, after that we didn't see a single rabbit.. It was my first lamping session with an air rifle and I decided to take the .22 HW100KT purely due to its lighter weight and magazine. Darren was kind enough to be the spotter and I managed to get 3 shots off and bagged 2 rabbits. A thoroughly enjoyable night. Nice to meet you Darren and thanks for showing me around.
