Advice Please

Could someone give me some advice please? My 10 month old bitch keeps sooking on any fabric! Her bed my duvet, pillows on the couch, pillows on the bed, clothes everything she can get. She just puts a bit between her paws and sooks, she sometime even falls asleep like this.

 

Is there a reason why she does this? I know she would o done this when she was a puppy but she never done it when she was a little pup just in the last couple o months

 

Should I stop her doing it?

Possibly teething? Does she have bones?

She get bones and has plenty o things to chew on she just sits and sooks has even managed to put a hole in some things. May sound daft putting this on but i thought she would have grown out o it.

its a canine form of thumb sucking, its exactly the same action as the first suckling act she ever made with the bitch, it brings her comfort ,

 

get her some sort of a soft thing to lie on and keep her on that not the furniture or beds, a lot of attention in the home can have an opposite effect of what its meant to, too much attention mixed with discipline in the house can sometimes lead to a confused pup,

Thanks. She has her own bed in the house which she does sleep and lie on. Should I spot her doing it?

Put a bit of Vicks vapour rub on the things she is chewing. They can't stand the smell of it
