Silage fields have been slow to be cut this season because of all the rain, saw an oil seed rape been cut yesterday. The guy who owns the animal feed merchants says some farmers have been spraying the corn which means they have to start cutting within the next two weeks. Not long now

Only a couple of fields up here look about ready to come down. Most of the wheat is still green. Silage has started tro be cut.

Even when the corns cut i find its not worth walking it for a few weeks its like walking on corn flakes,Your only educating stuff.

silage is being cut like hell near me soon as we have a dry day ..

a few of the barley and wheat fields look poor and maybe wont be cut

 

and any body who managed to get hay cut this year is doing good , we got 1600 bails in this year and people are constantly on the phone trying to buy some
