Springers are Far better.....

Recommended Posts

aye cant beat the feeling of a springer. the sense of achievement..the good feeling when your on form and you got it mastered and your getting good groups.

also kills feel a lot better with a springer. with a pcp its just point and click but with a springer theres actually skill involved

a pcp is just a tool to do a job in my oppinion. whereas your springer is more like a friend hahaha

Now this is what shooting and hunting with an air rifle is all about to me. Great write up and pics of your bags with your spring rifles Stuart .   I've shot and hunted with spring rifles since I w

Ach, that Si pittaway bloke is nowt but a show off, lol   I have to admit, I really fancy a 97k. I use pcp at the min and love it, but have haad some amazing springers including a Diana 52. SERIOUS

Just love that description can see that on the advert now

cracking shooting mate, springers are just so much more fun to shoot than pcp's... i tried a diana 52 and 54 last year but didnt get on so well with them, shame cos theyre cracking guns if they suit you.

If anything Stuart, a good tuning kit should enhance your rifle's inherent accuracy and cocking/lock time with a smoother firing cycle.

I admire Diana, especially their underlever and sidelever rifles for their care and build-quality of their designs and finish of their looks. I'd really like to try out a 54 Airking.

Post up the results when you get it back and set up :victory: .

Nothing wrong with PCPs but. they just don't excite me. They really are no more accurate than a top quality spring rifle and frankly, a fair few of them look a bit bloody ugly by comparison.

The Theoben Rapid 7 is a case in point.

Absolutely precision accurate shooting machine but, bloody thing looks like its deep-throating a fire extinguisher! :icon_eek:
