sounder 9
pre- ban i have had this out over the year with lads, i think as a fox dog it should be one and one only can't see the point of two, maybe the catch rate would be better but that not what i am looking for out of my dogs, two dogs on a fox even if single handed would ruin a dog doubled up imho but that my thinking of it from what i seen over the years the ONLY time i would double up on fox would be a young lurcher for it first and sceond time on them after that it on it own they do it or they don't , i alway work two dogs swop them week in week out but alway on the own dogs or bitches i don't care as long as there doing it hare dogs maybe i am no judge of them to comment atb sounder Quote Link to post
GypsyJoe 36
I've got too many dogs really, but I love them all dearly, and they all serve a purpose, the little lurchers are great daytime and also great lamping dogs, the Salukis are great in open spaces and over distance, the Borzoi does well with rabbits in the open (daylight only, or I'd loose her, and wrks well with the Salukis) My terrier and little lurchers are top ratters, and the site where I live needs good ratters All bitches, all the way. I find them more bidable and eager to please, they work harder to please me cause they get more jealous, though when they all come into season at once and it's three weeks of bitch fights. I currently only own one male dog, a full saluki from good lines who I intend to put to some of my bitches when the time is right, if he turns out to be worth it. Quote Link to post
