only addvice i can give is dress smart and use your manners ..if you go with a crowd you will get no sense what so ever ..money dosent work either .i know a lad thats been into the coursing game for w

Theres loads of very nice and decent dog lads who dont have a single square foot of permission, if you think this makes them in some way "less" than you then you are a fool! Permission is hard to get

Have you tried offering a farmer some of the £1000's you have paid in fines?

Ever thought that one of the reasons you cant get permission is the FACT that you well know for working your mutts illegally :hmm:

Prick !!!!!!!!!!!!

Takes one to know one why would a land owner who knows a dogman who admits he got £1000 in fines from poaching want them on there land and if he is so shit and poaching he cant be much kop and catching either

anybody just starting out such as myself has to take into account obvious factors such as a farmer i had a chat with the other week had hes lambs worried and two killed by lurchers he even went so far as to show me pics on his phone so straight away u where on the back foot so to speak i have however come to the conclusion that much like people every farmer is different, most of the ones ive spoken to arent bad blokes but i havent had much success but just like fishing the fish wont just jump in the boat keep at it mate youll eventually click.

What have you tried so far - on asking for permission? As already has been said - it can mostly depend on knowing land owners and/or trust, but on the other hand some are lucky to get a decent enough land owner that will give permission.
