Um-mm I've got a bit of shooting experience with a sub 12 .25 mate as I filmed The Rise of the Verminator s using one.

I found it to be quite devastating on vermin.

I think I shot out to 50 metres on the scope camera (targets) with it and it was very nice.

On vermin I shot out to around 40 metres if I remember rightly and it was very clean.

The trajectory is quite steep but all you need to do is map it and its not a problem at all.

I wouldn't advise on using it at night with a lamp or NV equipment where lasing becomes an issue.

In the day time though its defo a good calibre to use on all the UK legal vermin.

I'd say a Weihrauch HW80 or HW77 or 97K in this calibre would make a fantastic rat and rabbit rifle. I'm certainly interested after reading Si's recent foray with this calibre at sub-12 ft/lbs.

Regards.

If your looking to shoot out to the same distance as other calibres say 40-50yrds, why not go for a .22 bit more forgiving, an can be used at night also. Just a thought. Although I would like one, but would only get one if I had rats to deal with
