H U N T E R--B O Y 2
Hey guy ive seen a cheap .25 air rifle sub 12 just wanted to some opinions really how bad is the trejectory? How far would it kill a rabbit? Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
Um-mm I've got a bit of shooting experience with a sub 12 .25 mate as I filmed The Rise of the Verminator s using one. I found it to be quite devastating on vermin. I think I shot out to 50 metres on the scope camera (targets) with it and it was very nice. On vermin I shot out to around 40 metres if I remember rightly and it was very clean. The trajectory is quite steep but all you need to do is map it and its not a problem at all. I wouldn't advise on using it at night with a lamp or NV equipment where lasing becomes an issue. In the day time though its defo a good calibre to use on all the UK legal vermin. pianoman 3,587
I'd say a Weihrauch HW80 or HW77 or 97K in this calibre would make a fantastic rat and rabbit rifle. I'm certainly interested after reading Si's recent foray with this calibre at sub-12 ft/lbs. Regards. Simon Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
nice what gun was you shooting with? I was shooting a Phil8282 tuned and regulated single shot BSA Ultra with X3 silencer. Quote Link to post

robwelsh 354
If your looking to shoot out to the same distance as other calibres say 40-50yrds, why not go for a .22 bit more forgiving, an can be used at night also. Just a thought. Although I would like one, but would only get one if I had rats to deal with Quote Link to post
