dont use a whistle as i like the dog to work the ground itself within 30-40 yard radius of me however dont use a gun i can see its usefulness nice video atb

richard got to keep the hunting close so the whistle is all part of working my spanials stops them hunting into the next county .F-L got to say i like going after the bunnys better than wing shooting

trained mine on a squicky ball in jacket pocket for first six to eight month fantastic looking dog atb mate

Ive had the pleasure of a days shooting in the company of Hily and his spaniels are a treat to watch. Never had mine spot on with bunnies and they often chased a few yards before stopping to the whistle. Rabbit shooting over spaniels its a sport in its own right, and highly enjoyable. Takes that bit more training too which is all part of the fun.
