Is it me or has anyone else noticed the size of the modern day welsh hound is getting bigger? They stand alot taller than before and are alot bigger boned . Some i have noticed find it hard to push on

as was said the other day there a lot of packs breeding heavy big types for the shows but if you look in the right places there are still packs around with lighter hounds.

. Never seen any over sized at Builth in any class

Hi Milliken the hounds that you saw on Sunday was ours they are a bit big but its like people say about terriers being to big " if they have enough drive they can f " better having a bit of leg when they hit open country . We have some of the bitches back at the kennels and they would be a good bit smaller than the Dogs Hounds you saw . None of the Hounds you saw had any Harrier in them as far as we know . But we do a have a couple in the pack .

Ask Spindolero as they have a well bred Irish welsh foxhound pup that they took back with them last year
