Don't want an argument lads but if some one was breed a litter outta working stock say for example to well breed half crosses that had done the hard days and nights had been tested and proven would you chose that puppy or would you go to David hancocks?i would go for the worker to worker every day wa about you lot?

Most folk would ,, IF there were any being bred, but there`s not. Not around here anyway, and none that are being talked about.

the argument will go on forever, the thing is with a hancock bred dog you know exactly what its parents are and however good or well intentioned there are some lurcher to lurcher / worker to worker types that can be part guesswork part fantasy

there are those who slate hancock and platt but would then run out and buy a grey/collie x grey/deerhound. without these type of breeders we wouldn't have the basic ingredients for many of the lurcher to lurcher / worker to worker types.

I agree with that you don't seeing many good collie x pups for sale and Hancock is an easy option I think this is why people off here should get intouch and breed a litter or two out of good working stock there are pleanty of decent lads on here that would take on these kind of pups not for money just for future pups I know a lot of people wouldn't like to do this but it would be great for some good working lurcher? Another question do you think Hancock would use an injured bitch say for instance bad feet ?
