South hams hunter 8,921
That dog can't have gameness, you need to look up some of the words before you use them.
crorider 174
That dog can't have gameness, you need to look up some of the words before you use them. Really? What does it mean then?
South hams hunter 8,921
IMO only bulls can have gameness as gameness is the willing to continue once fatigued or losing without self preservation. All Lurchers have self preservation and will quit if pushed to avoid being hurt where as a bull would die rather than lose ( not all bulls)

crorider 174
Does anyone know how reliable these dna tests are that you can get online cos im thinking about finding out for certain what he is cos something didnt add up
MoChara 1,632
Only ever heard of the DNA tests getting done for Kennel Club reason's, so not sure about them. Maybe ask your vet about it.? Im sure someone on here would know something though. But if i were you - i wouldnt bother, the it dosent really matter what is in the dog, its more about what the dog can to imo. crorider 174
yea it doenst matter to me in the slightest whats in him, just be nice to know. Not sure i trust the tests though, my mate got her bull greyhound done and it came back 3/4 bull/grey, the bull apparently being victorian bulldog which i really couldnt see. and 1/4 whippet. Thats what she told me anyway
MoChara 1,632
I wouldn't know like - you could guess and guess all day and still be wrong But like i said i wouldn't be bothered about the exact breeding of the dog, just enjoy the wee dog for what he is
