People worry too much about other people dogs, What they call them , What they do with them or where they work them......   FFS people the seasons not too far away enjoy it no matter what your mutts

They're all just lurchers.............my pup is 8 months now, I can see a lot of traits in her that are collie traits but also others you don't usually associate with a collie x. This pup seems more f

Who cares this crap is boring and repetative now.

Its because the other breeds in them will still be makeing the difference between them and just collie x grey or grews any body whos had collie crosses and collie lurchers crossed to other type lurchers will understand wat your on about.

maybe so Dell, but the differnce is that most minshaw are used as just lamping dogs, and colliexs are more day+night dogs. And the point i was making get the right collie x grey like i think i have can do just as good at the lamping game as most minshaws types, even though he wasnt bed just as lamping dog.

I saw a Minshaw recentley, and would have pasesed it in the street as just another colie mongrel. looked nothing special at all. I gather they do the job, never seen one work so cant comment , but looks wise,, wouldn`t have barely noticed it.

Collie x are capable of catching lamped hares

Minshaws you need to double up.??

If you put pictures up of the one with a few and leaves on the trees you will be attacked

Put a picture up of the other you will be a hero??

i think the main difference is that with collie / greyhound x's you get much more variety of type and attitude ie smaller collie types, big racy etc and ones that want to herd, some with the guard mentality some with a strong hunting instinct etc. it seems the minhsaw type has been bred from the best of every generation where the best most desired traits have been strengthened, no doubt theres been bits of other things along the way with bull beddy and saluki in there. also how many collie x guys genuinely put as much gear in front of their dogs? these guy's have been out doing it for generations their not put off by a bit of cold or bad weather and the dogs are truly tested. i'm a collie cross fan but not blinded enough to think that every collie x pup makes the grade. just my thoughts guys

They're all just lurchers.............my pup is 8 months now, I can see a lot of traits in her that are collie traits but also others you don't usually associate with a collie x. This pup seems more full on than any collie x I've owned but as she's maturing she's becoming much more tractable, she'll not be just a lamping dog I'll be ferreting etc with her.

If I'm asked what x she is I usually reply that she's a "Lurcher"...........names and monikers don't make a dog, collie x's, Minshaws, collie curs call them what you like they'll only be as good as you make them, put the work in and enjoy the rewards.
