PlasticJock 539
Since the tories and their willing accomplices the liberals took over, I feel more and more as though we have become occupied by a nazi style foreign power. I have never been so permanently angry in my life. They are so obviously using the financial crisis to bulldoze tory policies which nobody voted for. Who voted for the NHS to be sold off? For the severely disabled to have their benefits cut? For tens of thousands of public sector workers to be made redundant, including nurses and police officers? For child benefit and working tax credits to be cut. For students to have to pay up to 9 grand a year for tuition fees? For the poor to be shipped out of London if they happen to be on the dole or sick? I'm referring to the 25 grand cap on benefits paid to any single family. I know that SOUNDS like good money but remember the feckin LANDLORDS take the vast majority of that money. Why not cap the amount landlords can charge instead of evicting people? Did anybody vote for the eviction of people from their council house if there is so called under occupancy? In other words if your kids are grown up and there is a spare bedroom you will be moved into a smaller house maybe miles away from your existing home. Did anybody vote for the Remploy factories to be closed down? They've been in for two and a bit more years and have done nothing but launch vicious attacks on ordinary people, whilst giving tax breaks to the filthy rich. The country is being run by an Eton/Oxbridge mafia, the same arrogant, incompetent lot who ordered our forbears 'over the top' to be mown down in their hundreds of thousands. I believe this lot to be more evil than Thatcher. Even she was scared to dismantle the NHS. I can't remember a time when the future looked so bleak for the youngsters of this country. All the advances made by working people over the last century are being confiscated by this scum. As for the liberals, they are nothing more than spineless collaborators.Rant over--for now. It will take tens of years to get the country out of the shit LABOUR put us in! so stop thinking their will be a quick fix and just get on the best you can,I bet you loved it when scum LABOUR was in power letting you borrow to your hearts content! well now you have to pay. And in the future if you did don't vote for LABOUR. And before anyone says it was the banks fault for lending people money, they didn't make you sign on the dotted line. No, but they force us to use their services constantly. We didn't ask them to gamble money away, who the fcuk gave them so much power over our lives??? Politicians are there to give us an illusion of choice. we have no choices beyond what company rapes us today.

PlasticJock 539
why do use vote. Because if you don't vote you have no opinion ergo you are irrelevant Or you could say that we refuse to choose the lesser of 3 evils. I don't vote so I've got every right to moan, when will people wake up and realise this isn't the 70's anymore - labour or Tory makes no difference today, they're all in it for the money simple as.

trappa 518
I was talking to the barmaid who has about 5 or 6 kids in the pub about benefits etc and she said that she always voted labour as she was told by the jobcentre that she needed to find a job that paid £445 a week before she was a pound better off than on benefits. NUFF SAID.
Caravan Monster 323
why do use vote. (very disappointed conservative voter) Then vote for the least evil. Or the one that stands for the opposite of what you hate most. Or stand for election yourself. But just to take tihe stand that "my vote is a waste of time", then you are abdicating all responsibility for what happens to the country. If you want to figt for what is right then you have to be in the ring NOT in the audience. Malt 379
I'm no fan of the Tories, I wouldnt piss on one if I saw one in flames, but I could accept them being in charge due to the fact that they got the most votes and we live in a democracy... What I struggle to accept is having the f*****g liberals involved in making decisions that affect the way we live our lives. I've decided I dislike those yellow b*****ds even more than the Tories since they've been in power. I could quite happily discount them as an irrelevance up until they got in via a coalition.. I'm no fan of what labour became either.. I think I'll be voting for UKIP from now on...
PlasticJock 539
What I don't get is this... If you have a hung jury in court you get a retrial... If you have a hung parliament it seems they just lump people together who have completely different views and then expect us to accept it when things go wrong
