hawky 0
i like an all rounder myself, a 'martini dog'. so not too small, about 23"- 25". i like a fast dog, but not too fast. i hunt some rough steep ground, so needs to have a bit of bone and sense if its going to stay sound. but the number one priority is that its in tune with me, is attentive and biddable, at any distance. they got to h,j,k,c, for me, no freelansing. above all they got to want it as much as i do, no time for slackers or slip dogs. Mick C. 229
I like a dog that gives everything even if it misses a few as long as he gives a good keen performance. A good nose can fill agame tbag without a lot of physical effort . very important trait in a dog that does the day shift Quote Link to post
