It's a definatly a jackel, not a wolf, far two small, and Salukis do hunt jackle.

I can't access the video, but if it's the usual one that does the rounds, it's an Asiatic Wolf. They're smaller than most Wolf types.

Yeah I feel the same don't like the idea of leaving them to fight it out fair enough if it's a quick kill but I'd personally like the hunter to finish the prey fast

there was still plenty of life in that animal till just about half a minute before he was killed you would soon enough get a nasty bite if you tried to interveen.I think thats why most lads into this type of hunting prefer the bull cross which is far more eficient in getting the job done quick and clean.
