DO NOT LEAVE IT write to the chief inspector copy with a copy of the act , are you a member of the csa or scotish one ask there advise , do you have written permission

go to a good solicitor.these peelers are acting outside the LAW fact.your son is entitled to compensation for being questioned without an appriot adult present.fxxk keeping the head down take him to t

personally i would leave it, you dont want to open up a can of worms , they can make your life very difficult if they want, they should never interegated your boy with out an adult there i wouldnt of

the question is was the lad breaking the law the answer is no. The lad was undertaking which is by the definition of the hunting with dogs act a lawful act hunting vermin i.e rats. when the police stop a juvenile they can enquire what they are doing then ask for thier name address and date of birth if they want to interrogte further then a responsible adult must be present. The incident will or should have been noted in thier note books along with your son details and at the end of the shift an incident form should be completed detailing the incident thier suspicions and what action they took if this has not been completed then they have acted illeglly themselves, if your son feels victimised then complain to the Area Inspector other wise put it down to experience but keep a note of the time date and location for future reference should it happen again

First thing if its in Scotland the Hunting act does NOT apply its either the protection of wild mammals act (Scotland) 2002 or the amimal welfare act (Scotland) 2006. He must have permission from whoever owns the ground he's on local shopkeepes are fine but only if its on ground they own/rent Pm me for my number and my old man will talk you through it. Your boy should be a SACS member that way he would have legal fees insurance and access to specialist lawyers my old man can arrange that as well unfortunatelly the incident happened before he was a SACS member this is why we keep stressing the benefits to members.

what if they deny it , you cant proove them wrong, as the spawny gits will just say the kid is lying...............you wont beat the law no matter how right you are and how wrong they are..........they will try and catch you out any other way.................................

i know a girl who was tried on by a copper and because she basically blew him out ........................., he then waited for her when he was on duty the night after and stitched her right up................ some are horrible and some are nice ..................................the bad ones wont get beaten easily in my opinion. good luck :victory:

have to agree with you there they will always win!! best of luck with the situation

As much of a pain in the axse as it is I think you should follow it through.I think submitting to police ignorance and saying nothing is part of whats brought us to our current situation regarding public opinion on hunting. I think we now need to take every opurtunity to inform police, public etc of hunting law and also the true nature of hunting and its neccesity. Like I said a pain in the axse but if we dont start doing this we are going to lose more ground inch by inch.

Two lady police officers patrol my village, always come over for a chat when they see me with the dogs, they know what im about, never any bother, same walking back home through the village in the evening, we a couple of bunnies, ford focus full of coppers passes me, no bother, its the lurchers that set the alarm bells ringing

I dare say there might be a good copper, but i havent met him yet. I had an experience when my daughter was accused of something by them and they took her out of class to question her.On the advice of Clive Rees (top bloke) on the phone i made a complaint and had the chief officer ring me to apologise. Made the b*****ds squirm for bit and they left her alone after that. They cannot question anyone under the age of seventeen without an adult present, although they will say they werent questioning, it was an informal chat. Get legal advice, and then think about complaining, these tossers still have to abide by the law as well
