smudgersmith 2
Gents I have a 8 week old Jill who is constantly wet at the rear end, she has a problem with a back leg which seems abit under developed. She is half the size of her sisters. She is active but clumsey. She is eating well but her sh*t is runny and bubble, never solid. Never hada Jill like this, any pointers Lads ? Cheers Smudger Quote Link to post
ferret100 47
No pointers, sounds like she may be externally & internally deformed. Doubt the prognosis is great. Atb. Quote Link to post

smudgersmith 2
Lads, Thanks for the post, I think I will give her some time, if it continues the cold weather will get her in the end I suppose. She don't seem to be suffering so I will let her be. Cheers again. Smudger Quote Link to post

Kay 3,709
i had a jill kit here years ago who had terrible internal difomaties , she had a condition called anal atresia recto vaginal fistula , the jill basically had no anal opening so she was defecating via the vaginal opening the poor thing screemed when she used the toilet corner .. after 2 trips to the vets she was put to sleep because i wasn't prepared to keep her on antibiotics for urine infections .. the vet wasn't happy about leaving her to mature & felt there would be other problems when it was ready for season time So i would get her looked at now rather than leave her & make any decisions now if you have to Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,935
Looking for help on here is OK but nothing substitutes having a good vet to go to. I think any vet would have put it down before it died overnight. Not critisising, but anyone reading this take note, get any seriously ill animal to a vet rather than hoping for the best.
