ollywilli 49
Hi. I am lookign for a bit of advice on what size kennel and run to make for potential dogs. Mostly probably terriers but the possability of lurchers too. I am unsure whether to make one large one or smaller ones or a large one which can be divided up. I know the thought as big as you can but what minimum size would you say. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Regards Oliver Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
Iam not into over sized pens a decent 8' by 6'' is more than enough for both terrier or lurcher IMO, With a decent sleeping area more than enough Quote Link to post

Tiny 7 1,694
Super thanks lads. How much of a sleeping are would you recommend? Nothing too big aslong as the dog can full stretch out and stand up thats big enough, Big sleeping areas iv know people have problems with dogs shitting and pissing in the bed area Quote Link to post
coonboy 160
If the sleeping area to big they can also get cold in winter with no heat lamp Quote Link to post
Tiny 7 1,694
If the sleeping area to big they can also get cold in winter with no heat lamp Thats when a false roof comes in handy ... But as long as its weather proof and draught proof there sould be no need for heat lamps.... A cold draughty box will knock weight/condition off a dog in no time Quote Link to post
