Not trying to piss on anyones chips, but mostly it comes from pastoral herding breeds, border collie, rough/smooth collie, oes, beauverons etc etc some non kc beardie(but that more than likely came about from a outcross to border collie) great Danes and a few hounds also are merle. But pretty well it originates from a pastoral herder.

And my bet this dog is merle from border collie type, as it's most common.

Good luck with the sale, would be nice to see a picture.

this is part of the problem when people sell pups and dont get there breeding right , this is prime example.....................................................

some one new to the game would by a pup and take there word that they got grey x merle (could be any merle)........................then they breed and really they havent a clue on what breed the merle gene is, fooking madness really...............................

Stabba ... Would you ring someone if they advertised a greyhound brindle dog if you was lookin a bullx? Even if it was a bullx you wouldn't as you'd think he was selling a brindle greyhound , that's my point here ... Why not put the mix down and then mention the colour , I was using the Merle bulls just as an example to show just coz it's Merle don't meen it's a collie x

even if the merle comes from a collie, it could be many generations ago and hardly any collie blood left, but the merle gene still can be passed on separate to any other characteristics

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
