talt 878
Good looking birds with decent feet. Were they hatched under a hen or in an incubator?
Abel Magwitch. 13
Good looking birds with decent feet. Were they hatched under a hen or in an incubator? I hatched over 200 shamos this year under incubators - no twisted toes.

Abel Magwitch. 13
Foxdigger, I breed best to best by single matings from mainly two families. You are never far from the truth. Inbreeding is a method for big breeders. You need to breed a lot and a hen that is broody isn't producing and asian fowl aren't as good as laying as the english birds etctera, and after my final selections I will maybe keep a dozen.I keep a stud book with all my breeding experiences. Tuzo 251
do you test your hens abel? .....what do you mean ? times tables and spelling etc ?
patterdalejoel 669
in hindsight i do suppose that question was a little silly. but i think a good bird should be able to do quadratic equations and algera to make it a worthy hen
foxdigger13 114
do you test your hens abel? Hahahahaha, And I see what your saying abel, but do you not think that hen hatched chicks that are roaming with their mothers grow better and faster? Cheers. .....what do you mean ? times tables and spelling etc ?
