Daz 7 563
Has i've been working down Aylesbury for 4 weeks and one week to Go, There's not been any shooting on My part. But went out Friday Morning in the Lovely sunshine with the Shottie syndicate. I know it's not airgun hunting but when i'm back Home from working away normal service will resume, plus it's always good to test yourself shooting at fast moving feathered targets. My Mates set up a hide and two patterns of decoys and i moved down and sat under a tree about 100 yrds as all i was doing was abit of flighting, weren't expecting much so brought flask and was enjoying the sunshine chilling out. But shot 13 woodies in 2 hours while i was there, My mates shot 9 & 4 respectively so a good result for Me. atvb Daz 7. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Hi mate. Respects to you here Daz this is a great little bag for your time out on your gun. Has your experience with shooting an air rifle well, paid off with shooting with a shotgun to this standard? Often I'm thinking of getting another shotgun or rimfire but, it's still the greatest challenge to go hunting with a spring air rifle and so I remain a dedicated airgunner. By the way I lived in Whitchurch near Aylesbury for about 6 years and had a cracking bit of pidgeon shooting where my house and garden just happened to have two acres of forest with it! Great to see you here mate. All the best to you and yours. Simon Quote Link to post

I find with the Shottie and Air Rifle i have the best of both worlds Stalking and long distance shooting with the Air Rifles, And has i don't decoy i only tend to shoot on flight lines with the shottie. It's fast and furious trying to shoot the Pigeons and corvids as their bobbing and weaving trying to make their way to their Roosts. atvb Daz 7. Edited July 28, 2012 by Daz 7 Quote Link to post
