For a new, first issue FAC you're unlikely to have the less restrictive land condition in most of England. I don't know what Northumberland are like though. Have you phoned them to ask if the new land has been checked? If they use land checks, then the chances are at least some of it has been already. Get them to note down each new piece that you ask about, it only helps later on when you want to open up your cert.

Hi matt the the land is being checked on the same day of my house visit as the land owner has told me his date (ie 8th of august) i will ring them with the other details and see what they say thanks.

Hi

As the lads say its not likely but it's not unheard of and I know a couple of lads who got it opened from the start one was a close Nate who applied at the same time as me,I'm Derbyshire and he's south Yorkshire, mine was closed but his opened for 22lr .17 hmr and .223 cf, it took me 6 months to get it opened on the same calibres,I just kept ringing and asking and writing letters to get land checked I think the hassle of it changed their mind, also telling them reason why they wouldn't open was not justified, this time no response back but I open cert in the post, thats a few years ago but just request it and good luck
