Gaz_1989 9,539
Are there many of these about? I've heard they were really popular in the 80s but can't say as I've seen a litter of these advertised ever. Would really like a pup of this breeding next year. Gaz Quote Link to post

Gaz to many these are considered as the perfect alrounder for edible quarry, as hopefully they take the best attributes off each parent. i dont see many of these about, and its a cross i have often thought about getting. Gaz_1989 9,539
I have often heard them described as the perfect all rounder. I've got a saluki/collie/grey bitch now. Not sure of her exact breeding but she is dynamite. Intelligent, very quick off the mark, bags of stamina, really can't fault her. I would love one out of a coursing dog to a grafting collie cross. huntingryan 33
saluki x collie grey both parents were suppose to be great workers, but if there were i don't know for sure but he does the job the only problem is his retrieve but that properly my fault. great stamina, speed and his concentration while ferreting is great, only had one season tho Quote Link to post
