Does anyone use vitamin gel ?

I was wondering if vitamin gel is any good and if i should get some ?

I was given Ferret Tone as a freebie, I only use it too trim nails, i put a small blob on their chest which keeps them occupied licking it off, while i cut the nails.

I use the malt paste vitamin stuff by Beaphar, great for distracting them if you need them still for any length of time.

i have never used any paste or that vitamin stuff , just feed the normal diet here

I think we all feed the normal diet, but as i said its useful as an aid to nail trimming.

Im the same Albert 45 years of Ferrets and never trimmed claws, but decided this year to give it a go, just taking the tops off, it was no bother, dont know if i would do it again, certainly not in the Winter when they are working.

i agree, with the good diet, the only reason i ended up with the Ferret Tone, is, i was given a hutch, and the previous owner, gave me the tonic as a freebie, would i have bought it, a definite no.
