I'm in the market for one of those. Probably a x40. Would love a panorama but just can't quite stretch that far.

Now the panorama on my new rig is a different beast altogether. Maybe sell a few items miles to stump up the extra?

After our long range shooting session i saw the leap in clarity from an smk 3-9x40, a nikko mountmaster 4-12x50 to the panorama 4-12x40.

Now the two i have were fine at 30-40yards, but got challenging at 50-60. I initially thought right, upgrade required to a panorama, but I've realised that I rarely exceed the 40 yard range when hunting.

The sport hd then, maybe a good compromise...

I had the HD sports when I started, in fact I still have one on my gas ram rifle! Nice scopes!
