derbylad1 293
I thinks its gonna be a nightmare to get the season started. It'll be nice to start in september but with all the rain and sunshine, the grasses will be high very quickly after the cuts. also the hedgerows will hold the cover for much longer...hopefully i'm wrong. Born Hunter 17,763
Yup, seen the first of em rolling round here earlier in the week. Barley and rape is coming down and a lot of hey being cut while the fecking sun is shining. It's a great time of year, full of anticipation for the coming season, so much so you can taste it. Hopefully spend an afternoon this weekend on some barley that the pigeons have been hitting hard. Stock the freezer up for a late summer party.
