this is my idea of barf,straight from the carcase

BARF isn't a trade name mate. It means bones and raw food. The protein level, as has been said, depends on what meat you feed. Mine get lamb, chicken, beef, liver, game, etc. and they all have different protein levels. :thumbs:

a few diffrent places sell it, it usually comes in 1lb pouches an consists of minced chicken/minced lamb an minced beef, an all have bits of bone/grizzle/feather/fur an they likes in it, i feed my dogs on it an they are thriveing :yes:

Not to be picky or having a pop but you make it sound as though it is a specific brand of food "a few places sell it" and "it usually comes in 1lb packs". Could be misleading to someone who doesn't know.

 

It doesn't have to be commercialised. It can include butchers scraps, meats from supermarket, raw veggies etc.

 

You can even feed game you catch yourself :thumbs:

an beleive me i know ye can feed what ye catch lol, i do, but even with a constant supply of bunnys you would still need other food to make it a balanced diet, so at some point you are gonna have to buy it in, or feed kibble, i do bow in your superior knowledge, an i shall pm ye all further posts i want to make, just to get your approval before i do lol

We didn't know what "Biologically Appropriate" meant, when we first started feeding bones and raw food !! LOL !! :thumbs:

was just called dog food for years until some clever dick made a name up for it :laugh: an now we call chum an all that other shit dog food, an real dog food is called barf, world gone mad i tell ye lol :laugh:

there was times befor the comercial food stuffs took off , we fed tripe and brown bread thee grew like gooduns on it and some of the hardest worked animals had little else . there can be abit to much this that on feeding etc . atb bunnys.

Ive never heard or that one before , not saying your wrong but ive allways known it as bone and raw flesh or bone and raw foods , biologically appropriate dosent make a lot of sense to me , surely dried complete food would class as biologically appropriate ?
