Most successfull wild animals all have pricked ears...hyena, lion, wolf, mustelids etc etc etc. Could it be that folded ears are actually the fault, bred into dogs because man thought it looked cuter/better/whatever? 4 Quote Link to post

My whippet bitch has them 'rose ears' but when she eyes up a rabbit/ lure/ something interests her they go pricked up and pointed. Are you telling me this is a fault? Sure is! thats my type a whippet, i dont like saying it on here cos its sure to ruffle a few feathers an get some dummys thrown about, but i cant see why folk would use sho bred whippets when there are dogs like this about Everyone has there opinion and i respect that, but how can you call me for using show bred blood when you haven't seen my dogs?
