If he starting his kits at that age makes you wonder how old he starts his dogs this site gets better & better.

 

Pretty young I bet his litter was out lamping at 3 months as well :laugh: :laugh:

Well I believe you. My ferret was out lamping at 8 weeks old and this lurcher pup was working deep

Sets and bolting rabbits at 12 weeks.

bigdaz other ferret was 2, and he passed straight by, so we thought, empty, lets give kit a run, and if it was a wind up why would i have pics...

 

the kits fully grown to be fair...

A kitt becomes fully grown at 16 weeks not 9 mate

I picked up a last years Jill from Netrigger, Bill does not work his Kits till the following Winter, so they are well over a year old before seeing any action, Bill likes them just to be well handled, have never tried this myself, but Bill says it works for him, think I will give it a go, if i breed.

I'm the same, i rarely give them any work until the following season, maybe the odd rabbit right at the end of their first winter, if it's an early litter.
