Kit working at 9 weeks...

Recommended Posts

took my kit out to give him a run in some warrens, only small ones just to get him out of the hutch, hes a silver mitt hob, and already bigger than hes dad, he has been fed a couple of rabbits skinned, and i always tied them to the cage like lads on here suggested for strength, we released the lad into a warren with a locator on, he went in and worked the set, next thing he was staying one place lots of thumping, we dug down 2 foot, there was ferret holding a big buck rabbit by its head in a block end, i was over the moon how he had it held, and how he stayed with it in a block end, pics to follow, cheers

reddawn and the rest of you, i am genuinely serious, we already had a ferret in the set, and it came out, so we thought ok its empty, pop the 9 week kit in, next thing we thought oh hes on something, all the thumping kicked off, and we dug him out, he is straight in sets now, really kean. hes fully grown i would say, or hes gonna be a VERY BIG FERRET

im very proud of him, hes a very strong type, and from birth updating and comparing against other kits, him and his brothers and sister, have always been big and strong, at birth they had mothers milk obviously, but at 3/4 days old, i had a jill which had a phantom, so i put her in with them, so from 3 weeks to about 6/7 they had 2 jills milk, and at 7 week old they was fully weaned off to rabbit, chicken, tinned fish, and ferret biscuit.
